Pastene sunflower oil is derived from oil-type sunflower seeds. It is light in taste and appearance and is the oil of choice in Italy and many other countries for sautéing. Chefs love it because it has a high smoke point (320° F, 160° C), is perfect for stir-fry, and keeps foods from sticking to the pan.
