Bagel with Capers & Lox


Serves 3
3bagels, split and toasted (unless still warm from baking)
6 ozcream cheese, softened
3 TbspPastene Capers, drained and divided
6 ozthinly sliced smoked salmon or lox
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste


  • Gather the ingredients.

  • Spread the toasted bagel bottom halves with cream cheese. Sprinkle half the capers over the cream cheese, if desired.

  • Top with sliced smoked salmon.

  • Garnish the bagel tops with the rest of the capers,  and black pepper.
