Pastene Chili


3-4 Servings
1 lbground Beef or Turkey
1large onion, chopped
2 tspminced garlic
3 tbspchili powder
1 tspcayenne pepper
1 28 oz canPastene Kitchen Ready Pasta Sauce
2 cansPastene Red or White kidney beans, drained
2 tbsplight brown sugar
shredded cheese
Pastene Jalapeno Peppers


  • Heat a large pot over medium heat. When hot, add the ground turkey or beef, onion, salt, chili powder, and cayenne. Cook, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon, until the meat is no longer pink, 7 to 9 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 additional minute.
  • Add 2 cups water, tomato sauce, kidney beans, and brown sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer until the chili thickens and the liquid reduces slightly, 1-2 hours. The chili tastes better the longer you let the flavors mingle.
  • Top with cheddar cheese and Pastene Sliced Jalapenos and serve with corn tortilla chips!
