Blue Cheese Salad


4 Servings
1 largehead of romaine lettuce, washed and dried
1 bunchwatercress, washed, dried and stems trimmed
1cucumber, peeled, seeded and sliced
4Pastene Hearts of Palm, sliced
1/2 cupBlue Cheese
1/2 cupcroutons
1/4 cupPastene Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/4 cupPastene Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 TbspPastene Prosecco Wine Vinegar
2 TbspPastene Balsamic Vinegar
salt and pepper


  • Tear lettuce leaves into small pieces and place in a salad bowl. Add watercress, cucumber, and hearts of palm.
  • Place Blue Cheese in the second bowl.
  • Dressing: Add olive oil and both vinegars; season with salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
  • Pour dressing over salad, add croutons, and toss. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
