|1||14 oz can Pastene Chickpeas, rinsed and drained|
|½ cup||chopped sweet onion|
|⅓ cup||Pastene Grated Parmesan Cheese|
|4-6||large fresh basil leaves, julienned, plus more for serving|
|3 tsp||Pastene Minced Garlic|
|¼ tsp||fine sea salt|
|1 cup||Pastene Plain Breadcrumbs, divided|
|1||16 oz jar Autentico Harvest Vegetable Sauce for dipping|
- Place first 8 ingredients in a food processor and then add ⅓ cup breadcrumbs. Pulse until combined but still roughly chopped.
- Shape into 1 ½” balls. Place remaining ⅔ cup breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl. Gently roll the balls in the breadcrumbs to coat.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F. In batches, place balls in a single layer in greased air fryer; spritz with cooking spray. Cook until golden brown, 11 to 13 minutes.
- Serve with warm dipping sauce and top with additional fresh basil.
