Pastene Queso

Ingredients

Serves 2-4
1 (10 oz) canPastene Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies, drained
2 Tbspbutter
1 Tbspflour
1½ cupsmilk
3 cupscheddar cheese, shredded
cilantro to taste

Directions

  • In a medium pot, melt the butter.

  • When melted add the flour. Stir well. Slowly add the milk, stirring constantly.

  • Heat until just before boiling, then slowly add the cheese, stirring constantly.

  • Cook for 5 minutes. Add the Pastene Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies and heat until the tomatoes are hot.

  • Top with cilantro and enjoy!
