1 | 10 oz can Pastene Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies, drained | |
2 Tbsp | butter | |
1 Tbsp | flour | |
1½ cups | milk | |
3 cups | cheddar cheese, coarsely grated | |
cilantro to taste |
Directions
Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 5-10 minutes

In a medium pot on medium-low heat, melt the butter.

Once the butter is melted, add the flour and mix well. Slowly add the milk, stirring constantly.

Heat until just before boiling, then slowly add the cheese, stirring constantly.

Cook for 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes with chilies and heat until the tomatoes are hot.

Garnish with cilantro and enjoy with tortilla chips!
