Pastene Queso


Serves 2-4
2 Tbspbutter
1 Tbspflour
1 1/2 cupsmilk
3 cupsshredded sharp cheddar cheese
10 oz canPastene Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies, well drained
Cilantro to taste


  • In a medium pot, melt the butter.

  • When melted add the flour. Stir well. Slowly add the milk, stirring constantly.

  • Heat until just before boiling, then slowly add the cheese, stirring constantly.

  • Cook for 5 minutes. Add the Pastene Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies and heat until the tomatoes are hot.

  • Top with cilantro and enjoy!
