Gorgonzola Sauce


Serves 4
1 tsp butter
1 Tbsp Pastene Minced Garlic
¾ lb gorgonzola dolce, chopped
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup Pastene Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 tsp black pepper
1 lb Pastene Italian Mafaldine, recommended


Prep time: 5 minutes  | Cook time: 5-10 minutes

  • Chop the gorgonzola into smaller portions for easy melting.
  • Melt butter and brown the minced garlic. Add the heavy cream until it boils and gradually introduce gorgonzola with a whisk.
  • Once melted, add  parmesan cheese and pepper. Stir occasionally to avoid sticking.
  • Cook your favorite pasta, we recommend mafaldine, toss to coat and serve immediately in warm bowls.
