Ever since I figured out that in order to have your sauce taste the same every time you make it, you needed to be using the same type tomato (duh!😃) That was over 50 years ago and I have been using Pastene Kitchen Ready ground tomatoes for my sauce.
Maybe it’s the age, but more recently, I have been adding the chunk style tomatoes to my sauce as I’ve had a taste for a heartier mixture. Pastene tomatoes have never failed me and they are the best in today’s current market! Please never change. Thanks.

I use this product in my championship chili. Undefeated after three competitions, and the chunky style crushed tomatoes added the right tanginess and just enough chunkiness to help put my recipe over the top.
