Pastene Pickled Onions


3-4 Servings
½ cup Pastene Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tbsp sugar
1½ tsp kosher salt
1 cup warm water
1 red onion, thinly sliced


Prep time: 5 minutes

  • Whisk water, cider vinegar, salt, and sugar in a small bowl until sugar and salt dissolve.
  • Place onion in a jar and pour vinegar mixture over the onions. We recommend reusing an old Pastene sauce jar.
  • Let sit the jar of onions sit at room temperature for 1 hour, then refrigerate for 24 hours.
  • Use for salads, sandwiches, tacos, & more!
