Ingredients
1 Tbsp | Pastene Extra Virgin Olive Oil | |
6 oz | sweet or spicy Italian sausage, casing removed | |
4 oz | fresh mozzarella, cut into ½” cubes | |
1 | 16 oz jar Pastene Autentico Vodka Sauce | |
12 oz | Pastene Italian Penne Rigate (about ¾ of a package) |
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, add the oil and warm on medium heat. Add the sausage and brown for 4 to 5 minutes, breaking up with the a wooden spoon. Add the Autentico Vodka Sauce and warm through.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente and drain well.
- Toss the pasta with the sauce and fresh mozzarella and serve.
