Parmesan Orzo


2 cups Pastene Italian Orzo
1 Tbsp Pastene Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp Pastene Minced Garlic
½ cup Pasterner Grated Parmesan Cheese, plus more for serving
1 Tbsp butter
¾ tsp salt
⅛ tsp red pepper flakes
pepper to taste


  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente. Drain well.
  • In a small pan, warm the oil over medium heat and add the garlic. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the orzo, olive oil, garlic, butter and salt. 
  • Toss with red pepper flakes, cheese, pepper and serve warm.
