Ingredients
2 | 5 oz cans Pastene Tuna in Olive Oil, well drained | |
¼ cup | mayonnaise | |
3 Tbsp | Pastene Deli Sliced Pepperoncini plus 1 Tbsp brine | |
1 ½ tsp | sweet jalapeno relish | |
2 tsp | toasted sesame oil | |
½ | garlic clove, finely grated | |
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste | ||
1 cup | thinly sliced celery, 2 stalks | |
2 | croissants |
Directions
- In a medium bowl, combine the tuna, mayonnaise, pepperoncini and its brine, sweet relish, sesame oil and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
- Stir vigorously with a fork, breaking up the tuna into fine threads. Fold in the celery, then taste and add more salt, pepper, pepperoncini and pepperoncini brine to taste.
- Layer in croissants for sandwiches.
