3-Minute French Sardine Pâté


Serves 4
1 French baguette, sliced
2 cans Pastene Sardines, mashed 
2 Tbsp softened butter 
½ lemon, juiced
salt and pepper to taste 
¼ cup scallions, finely chopped 


Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 5 minutes

  • Cut baguette into 1″ thick slices and bake until toasted.
  • Place sardines, butter, and juice in a bowl and mash with a fork to thoroughly combine. 
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Spread onto each baguette slice and sprinkle chopped spring onion on top.
  • Serve and enjoy.
